Promotional TShirts – Time running out
Hey everyone, the time to submit your bid on the center spot of the World Watusi Association’s TShirt ad space is running out. Our current bid is $400.00 and bidding will end on Monday the 15th of June. If you are still wanting to be featured on one of the smaller spaces you are also on the same deadline. Here we are marching through spring already, my how time flies. There are only two weeks left to submit your bid for the center place on our promotional TShirts or to arrange for one of the smaller spots surrounding the big ad. African Watusi
The photo was taken in 1998 or thereabouts within the Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda. At that time there were many such beautiful herds but they are increasingly rare outside the ranches of the Bahima elite. The majority are unable to continue to keep such herds because they are settled on small plots of land, with limited water and need to earn revenue for school fees and such like from milk. The majority are therefore cross breeding with exotic breeds to increase milk and meat production.

Bidding continues….
The bidding continues on our centerpiece ad of our promotional TShirts. The bid has been raised once again and is presently at $350.00. The bidding will continue until June 15 which is the final deadline and ALSO the deadline to reserve one of the dozen ads circling the centerpiece is June 15.

More Spring Fling
We had active participation in our Spring Fling for dinner and our fun auction. We were thrilled to actually meet our Registrar, Robin Hancock and her husband. We had several newer members there such as The Deline family from Michigan and the Edward’s family from Oklahoma. A good time was had by all and as always we enjoyed the great food from Nolands Catering. We want once again to thank the Comfort Inn in Macon from donating the meeting room it was greatly appreciated.

More sad news….
A part of this life unfortunately includes our losses. We wish to extend our condolences to Vernon Base in the loss of his mother, Alice in March 2015. Alice was 92 years old at the time of her passing, we should all be so blessed to have our loved ones so long.

We have continued to receive bids on the large ad in the center back of our proposed promotional T Shirts. The current high bid is $300.00. We have until the middle of June to keep accepting bids on the larger as as well as selling the spots for the smaller ads that will surround it. Plan before it is too late.
Sad News
We wish to express our sorrow for the loss of Dennis Sissom, a longtime member of the WWA from Missouri. We were unaware of his battle with cancer and his passing until recently. Dennis was a popular addition to our Association and will be missed.
