Fall Sale and meeting at Lolli Bros.

The WWA Fall Social and Annual Membership meeting will be held September 26th 2018 at 7PM at the Comfort Inn Confrence Room , 1821 N Missouri St, Macon, MO 63552; (660) 395-8000. This event will feature a catered meal, lots of watusi talk and a fun auction. We will need to get a head count for the meal closer to the time. Any donations to the associations for the fun auction are always greatly appreciated. All items are welcome, it does not have to be expensive or large. All proceeds go to support your association. We will also have WWA merchandise and T Shirts for sale at the meeting.

The Board of Director’s will meet at the Macon Comfort Inn at 5:00pm on Wednesday September 26. Any member that wishes to may attend.

Cattle will sell on Thursday September 27 at the Lolli Bros. livestock market. Cattle consigned can be viewed at World Watusi Association Online Auction on Facebook.

Spring Fling Reminder

Just a quick reminder to all of our members and other Watusi enthusiasts. The WWA will have its annual Spring Fling get-together on Wednesday evening, April 11, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the conference room of the Comfort Inn, 1817 North Missouri St., Macon, Missouri. This is a great opportunity to share your stories, photos, brochures, animals for sale and such with others. We will have a meal catered by Noland’s in Macon and will offer our Fun Auction fund raiser.

We will accept all donated items for our auction and usually receive many fun items such as skulls, artwork, food items, hot sauce, candy, local items from your home state, your imagination is your limit. We often have African items and Watusi related materials.

Any questions of items that are of interest can be discussed. Any suggestions to help our association run more favorably are welcome.

Watusi animals will be at auction on Thursday, April 12 so bring your checkbooks. This year the WWA is offering a free membership to any first time buyer purchasing a registered animal at this sale.

2016 Spring Fling Get Together

It is Spring again. For some of us the grass is starting to green up and we ar getting ready for those new calves. With Spring comes the Lolli Bros. Exotic Animal Sale in Macon, Missouri, www.lollibros.com. Watusi will sell on Thursday, April 7 and we will be having a social at 7:00p. m. CST Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the conference room at the Comfort Inn Macon, Missouri. Besides food and watusi talk we will hold our Fun Auction of a variety of donated items, the proceeds from which help fund the Association. Sneak peek at auction items…coming from Texas. This is a professionally prepared Watusi skull. Not a big one, but at least a good starter kit!

Lolli Bros Exotic Animal Sale

As most of our members know, Watusi cattle are occasionally offered for sale at auctions, and because of the uniqueness of the breed these offerings are quite often at exotic animal sales.

Probably the most well-known of these sales is the Lolli Brothers exotic sale held every season in Macon, Missouri. Watusi and their enthusiasts can usually be found here, particularly in the spring and fall.

The next sale is being held on Thursday, September 24 in Macon, Missouri (the WWA also holds its annual membership meeting in conjunction with this sale). See the consignments pictured below and more here.
